PRNA aims for Senior State Age teams to attend three lead-up carnivals during the preparation period.
Lead-up carnivals form an important part of team preparation and provide opportunities to develop combinations, apply team structures and gain match experience before Senior State Age.
Final training times and carnival dates will be communicated once confirmed.
This is also consistent with your previous Senior program, where lead-up carnivals were treated as an important part of team development and championship preparation.
Participation in the PRNA Senior State Age Program involves a financial commitment for families.
Representative fees contribute towards the costs of delivering the program, including training, fitness, lead-up carnivals, competition fees and other team requirements.
Additional costs apply for the Senior State Age Championships, including travel, accommodation and other associated team costs.
PRNA is committed to keeping representative netball as affordable as possible and will continue to look for opportunities to reduce costs for families.
2027 fees, payment schedules and uniform requirements will be published once final costs have been confirmed.
Representing PRNA is a commitment from both athletes and their families.
Players are expected to attend scheduled training, fitness sessions, lead-up carnivals and the Senior State Age Championships, and to represent PRNA with pride both on and off the court.
Families play an important role in supporting athletes throughout the representative season and are expected to maintain positive and respectful communication with coaches, managers, officials and other families.
We understand that athletes balance representative netball with school, family and other commitments. Early communication is important where conflicts, illness or injury arise.
Full player and parent expectations, attendance requirements, communication processes, travel arrangements and policies are outlined in the PRNA Representative Handbook.
Before nominating for the PRNA Senior State Age Program, players and families are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the requirements and expectations of representative netball.
