The PRNA Masters Program provides opportunities for players to continue competing and representing Pine Rivers in both Women’s and Mixed Masters netball.
The program combines competitive netball with the social, community and lifelong participation aspects of our sport, while maintaining the standards and pride expected when representing PRNA.
In 2027, PRNA intends to participate in the Great Barrier Reef Masters Games, held from 23–27 June 2027.

The PRNA Masters Representative Program is open to players who meet the age and eligibility requirements of the relevant Masters competition.
PRNA intends to seek Expressions of Interest for:
Women’s Masters
Mixed Masters
Players must be 30 years or older in the competition year, with final age divisions and team nominations determined by competition requirements and player numbers.
Teams are subject to sufficient Expressions of Interest and available competition divisions.
EXPRESS INTEREST → TRIAL → SELECT → PREPARE → COMPETE
Expression of Interest – Players register their interest in representing PRNA in February 2027.
Trial – Where required, trials will be conducted during March.
Select – Masters teams will be finalised by the end of March.
Prepare – Selected teams will train and prepare together in the lead-up to competition.
Compete – Teams will represent PRNA at the 2027 Great Barrier Reef Masters Games.
Where player numbers allow teams to be formed without a formal trial process, selections may be made from Expressions of Interest in accordance with program requirements.
February 2027 – Expressions of Interest open
March 2027 – Trials, if required
By 31 March 2027 – Teams finalised
April–June 2027 – Team training and preparation
23–27 June 2027 – Great Barrier Reef Masters Games
Specific EOI, trial and training dates will be communicated once confirmed.
The Great Barrier Reef Masters Games will be the major event for the 2027 PRNA Masters Representative Program.
Dates: 23–27 June 2027
PRNA intends to nominate Women’s and Mixed Masters teams, subject to player numbers and available competition divisions.
Selected players will represent PRNA throughout the event, with further information regarding competition schedules, travel, accommodation and team arrangements provided once confirmed.
Selected Masters teams will undertake a program of training and preparation in the lead-up to the Great Barrier Reef Masters Games.
Training arrangements will be developed following team selection and will consider the requirements and availability of each team.
Additional competition, carnival or match-play opportunities may also be considered where they provide appropriate preparation for the Games.
Training dates and any additional competition opportunities will be communicated following team selection.
Participation in the PRNA Masters Representative Program involves a financial commitment.
Program costs may include:
PRNA is committed to keeping representative participation as affordable as possible and will continue to explore opportunities to reduce costs for players.
2027 Masters fees, payment schedules, travel arrangements and uniform requirements will be published once final costs have been confirmed.
Representing PRNA at Masters requires a commitment to the team and the wider Association.
Selected players are expected to make themselves available for scheduled training, team activities and competition commitments, including the full Great Barrier Reef Masters Games event.
Players are expected to communicate early regarding injury, illness, travel or other circumstances that may impact their availability.
All players are expected to represent PRNA with pride and demonstrate our values of Resilience, Respect, Community and Inclusion both on and off the court.
